Victorian Aboriginal Spectacles Subsidy Scheme
Supporting the vision of the Taungurung people & Bpangerang people of our community is very important to us. We are a provider of the Victorian Aboriginal Spectacles Subsidy Scheme, a state government initiative that works to increase access to high quality visual aids for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Victorians.
For a simple co-payment of $10 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are able to receive a pair of spectacles and as a result experience a positive improvement in eye health.
Victorian Eyecare Service
At Wangaratta Eyecare, we are also a proud member of the Victorian Eyecare Service (VES) partnership. This service allows us to provide care and visual aids to those experiencing disadvantage or have barriers in accessing optometry services. If you meet the criteria to access VES we will discuss this with you at your appointment, simply book in with us today!
